The natural Mattmark dam is located in the Saas Valley near the village of Saas Almagell, Switzerland, 2197m above sea level, has a capture area of 37.10 km2, 1.76 km2 surface, maximum depth of 93m. . The Mattmark dam was built from 1960-1965.
