Cala Llenya - FURTHER INFORMATION
Cala Llenya - Ibiza visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Cala Llenya' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Balearic Islands.
Panorama of Cala Llenya in Ibiza. Cala Llenya is on the South coast of Ibza, close to the east end of the island. The beach is at the end of a valley lined with pie trees, and forms a gracious curve of fine white sand along the shore. The waters here deepen gently, so the area is quite safe for children. Cala Llenya is a favorite among the locals who can often be found here on Sundays with a barbecue and the extended family relaxing among the pin trees.
Cala Llenya has good anchorage for boats and yachts and there is a riding stable near by for those wanting to explore the area on horseback. The lie of the beach and the presence of the pines hides the hotels, villas and other holiday apartments around the beach, giving it a secluded feel. As can be seen in this panoramic photograph, there are sun beds and shades available for hire. While here it is worth exploring the rocky outcrops such as the one to the right of the bay.
The small town of San Jordi lies just to the east of the beach, which again has plenty of hotels and holiday accommodation. There are also a couple of tennis courts nearby.
