Long Causeway is one of the main pedestrianised shopping streets at the heart of Peterborough city center. Lined with the usual, well known high street stores, cafes and restaurants, the road north-south between Broadway and the top of Church Street, terminating at Cathedral Square just in front of Peterborough Cathedral.
From here the road becomes Bridge Street which continues south past yet more shops and the Peterborough Tourist Informaiton Office. Turning right at Cathedral Square down Church Street takes visitors to St John the Baptitst Church, another of the tourist attractions in the city.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Bus: Hereward Cross (5, 8), Broad Street (1, 2, 36, 37, 71, 306, 390, 401, 411, 413, 415).
Road: Peterborough is near the northern end of the A1(M) at the meeting of the A15, A47 and A1139 roads. It is about 37 miles north of Cambridge, 80 miles west of Norwich and 40 miles east of Leicester.
Train: Peterborough Station on East Coast Main Line, about an hour out of London
