Luisa Todi was born in January 9, 1753 in Setúbal. He was an internationally known opera singer, and would have performed in all the courts of Europe at the time. In Setubal he is remembered by a monument with a Sphinx which stands on the main avenue of the town. The monument was erected in 1860 and the avenue, where this panorama was taken is named Avenida Luísa Todi in his honour.
