Donja Luka Beach on Makarska Riviera - FURTHER INFORMATION
Donja Luka Beach on Makarska Riviera - Makarska visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Donja Luka Beach on Makarska Riviera' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Split-Dalmatia County.
Donja Luka Bay and beach lies at the heart of the Makarska Riviera on the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia. It is named after the town of Makarska which lies at the heart of the Riviera and Donja luka is one of the larger beaches. In the summer, this stretch of coves and beaches is very popular with Central and Eastern European visitors.
Donja luka beach is well developed, with plenty of amenities, restaurants and cafes. Beach chairs and loungers are available for hire and the water is exceedingly inviting. The beach itself is quite narrow, backed in places by shaded woodland.
Prominent along the beach here are a number of popular hotels, including Hotel Rivijera, Hotel Biokovka, Hotel Bonaca, Hotel Calmacija, Hotel Park and Hotel Metor (beside which is a night club). Those wanting to get away form the crowds often make their way onto Sv Petar headland to sunbathe on the rocks.
The beach is a short walk from the heart of the Old Town and Makarska Harbour.
