This is a great place from which to admire the mountain range that dominates the region. The pyramidal peak is the Eiger, followed by the Monch and the Jungfrau.

Run 44 (red run) descends from the Wixi chair lift to the bottom of both the Wixi and Fallboden chair lifts in Kleine Scheidegg. Near the top of the Wixi chair, runs 44 and 42 divide, with 42 (red) heading back down to Kleine Scheidegg. Further down run 44 the black run 43 branches off and heads to Wengernalp, a bar and station at 1873m between Kleine Scheidegg and Wengen.

This panoramic photograph shows part of the piste of run 44. Clearly visible from here is the dominant mountain range of the area showing, from left to right in the image, the three high peaks of the Eiger (3970m), Mönch (4107m) and Jungfrau (4158m) mountains.
