Harry Clark Fountain - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT

Panorama of the Harry Clark Fountain in Renmark. In 1956 the Murray River flooded the towns on its banks with a record level of over 9 metres which caused the evacuation of most people from Renmark. The flood extended over a period of seven months and cost several lifes during the fight to save the town. The local business man Harry Clark made a significant donation to fund the fountain.
