Blewburton Hill, Oxfordshire - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT

Blewburton Hill stands between the villages of Blewbury and Aston Upthorpe in South Oxfordshire. It is the site of an oval shaped Iron Age hillfort with several ditches still evident (2011). The fort may have been occupied from the 4th century BC to the 1st century BC, and replaced the original stockaded camp on the site, built in the 5th or 6th century BC. Didcot Power Station is c.7Km North West.
