Secluded Bay on Hvar Island - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama taken from the top of the Tuna showing showing the view of Uvala Divlja V, one of the small, secluded bays of Hvar island in Croatia. This was a great swimming stop during a cruise along the coast, with clear waters and a small beach at the end of the bay. Panorama taken September 2011.

The northern coastline of Hvar Island in Croatia is lined with a number of small, secluded bays, accessible only by foot or boat. Divlja V Bay (Uvala Divlja V) is one such bay found on the coast facing the mainland between Bogomolje and Sucuraj towards the eastern end of Hvar, between U Didina and Krivodolac. These bays are popular swimming stops by the various cruise boats that motor along the coast, each bay being large enough for one or two boats.
Surrounded by the hills of Hvar, the bay looks out across the strait to Makarska on mainland Croatia.
