Panorama of Lake Hindmarsh from Lake Road which follows the eastern shore of the largest freshwater lake in Victoria. The image shows the lake in January 2011 after the lake was not much more than a large dust plain for over a decade. Some water from the Wimmera river reached Lake Hindmarsh after a wet winter in 2010. Water from the heavy floods in early 2011 have not reached the lake yet when this image was taken.
