Chalmers Presbyterian Church in Timaru stands on the corner of Elizabeth St and Sophia Street. The Gothic style church, built between 1903-4, has a grey plastered exterior with a tall spire. Within the church are 15 stained glass windows showing The Ascension, which were designed by John Brock of Dunedin and commemorating parishioners who served in WWI and WWII.
