Regent Street runs north from Piccadilly Circus and the heart of the West End of London to Oxford Circus. Thereafter it changes name to Upper Regent Street and continues north past All Souls church, The Langham hotel and BBC Broadcasting House to Regents Park.

Named after the Prince Regent (George IV), Regent Street was laid out in 1825 forming part of the carriage way between and Regents Park. Today it is a major shopping street with various high-end stores and probably most famous for both Hamleys toy store, Liberty department store and the Apple Store, all near Oxford Circus.

Other famous shops on Regent Street include Austin Reed, Dickins & Jones, Barker Shoes, Burberry, National Geographic Store, UNIQLO, Mappin & Webb, Russell & Bromley, Swarovski, Tommy Hilfiger, Zara and Zara Home.
