The Clocktower in Devonport overlooks Torpedo Bay and beach at the junction of King Edward Parade and Church Street. Next to it are a couple of benches, making the outlook at relaxing spot to rest. Nearby to the east are the Tainui Memorial commemorating the landing of the Maori Tainui canoe in the 14C and the old Torpedo Bay Naval Wharf. Beyond that lies North Head from which there are stunning panoramic views over the coastline.
To the west is the ferry terminal for ferries back to central Auckland and next to this Devenport Beach. For a really stunning view over the area, take a walk north from Torpedo Bay up the cone of Mount Victoria, an extinct volcano.

Ferry: From Ferry Building to Devonport
Bus: From Britomart Transport Centre with a change at Takapuna. Torpedo Bay is 15 minute walk east along King Edward Parade from the Ferry Terminal and Devonport Beach.
