In the area of Zermatt there are several famous mountains, including, the Materhorn at the height of 4478metros, here lies the highest train station in Europe, 3883metros, Gornergrat with 3.089 meters, from here you can see the Monte Rosa massif with the mountain highest Swiss Alps, the Dufourspitze, 4634metros above sea level.

Flight: Zermatt is about 4 hours from Geneva Airport and 3½ from Zürich.
Train: Hourly rail connections run to Zermatt from all major gateways, including directly from Geneva and Zürich airports.
Road: Driving time to Zermatt is 3 ½ hours from Geneva, 4 ½ from Zürich, 4 hours from Milan in Italy.
