Against this background, photographed in May 2011 beside the road N379, in addition to the Arrábida Mountains, we can observe part of the Troia Peninsula and some beaches of Arrábida, such as the beach Figueirinha and beach Portinho Arrábida.

The Arrábida Mountain, a place of rare natural beauty, is a protected area and integrated in the Natural Park of Arrábida, is located on the north bank of the estuary of the River Sado, Peninsula de Setúbal, Portugal.
The Arrábida Mountain, with the highest point to 501 meters and a temperate Mediterranean climate, rich flora has a Mediterranean species such as holm oak, cork tree and oak. Here it is possible make hiking and all-terrain biking, hang-gliding and skydiving, are some of the possibilities that the Mountain provides to those who do not release the adventure, while being a privileged place of rest and contact with nature.
The predominantly green all the Arrábida Mountain dips only its nearest neighbor, the sea, where we find some of the most beautiful beaches of Portugal, Figueirinha beach, Galapos the beach, Portinho Arrábida beach and Peninsula of Tróia.
