Dalmahoy hill which is about two miles walk from balerno near edinburgh. although it's not far from balerno it was a bit of a nightmare walk, care needs to be taken as the road can be busy and there is no path. much better to get a lift from someone, in saying this it's well worth the effort for the excellent views of the surrounding area.
