El-Gölü is a large municipal park in Tabriz, the capital of the East Azerbaijan Province of Iran. Known as Azerbaijani in Azerbaijani and ایل گلی in Persian, the park contained a summer palace for the Qajar Dynasty. It still contains a palace today, constructed during the 2nd Pahlavi period, surrounded by a massive, 12m deep, square pool built by the Aq Qoyunlu kings and further extended by the Safavids.
This is a popular place with locals. The palace and pool lie at the foot of small hill on top of which is a fountain that feeds the pool below. The park lends it's name to the El goli (pars) Hotel nearby.
