Google Map Church of sv Mikulas - PlazaPhotographer Description of Church of sv Mikulas - PlazaThe front church of sv Mikulas in Prague used to be hidden from view from the Town Square of Prague until the east wing of the Town Hall was removed in the 1940's. Tourists milled around happily on this sunny day, as can be seen in this panorama. The picture shows the booths selling stuff for tourists and food. This panoramic image was taken from the plaza just in front of the church itself, just far enough back to get in most of the facade.Church of sv Mikulas - Plaza - Further InformationPanorama from the outside of the church of sv Mikulas (Sv Mikuláš) in Prague. The church of sv Mikulas is on the north west corner of the Town Square (Czech: Staroměstské náměstí) in the Old Town (Staré Město) area of Prague. There is another panorama inside the church of sv Mikulas showing some of the fine stucco decorations by Bernardo Spinetti. The interior of the church is modeled on the chapel of St. Louis-des-invalides in Paris. The area in front of the church is lined with small cafes, and during the summer classical concerts are often held inside the church itself.
