Hradcanske namesti - View over Prague - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama in Prague next to Prague Castle was taken late in the afternoon. It meant that the square was relatively empty of people, but it also meant the light was low. A fact that was not helped greatly by the rain showers over Prague for much of the day.

Panorama from Hradčanské námĕstà showing the view over Prague. Hradčanské námestà is the square in front of Prague Castle (Pražský hrad). Because of the popularity of Prague Castle as the number 1 tourist attracion of Prague, the square is often full of people during the day. This viewpoint is on the southern side of the square and gives a view over Prague's so-called 'Little Quarter' (Malá Strana).
Most people come to Malá Strana across the Charles Bridge from the Old Town of Prague, and then rapidly ascend the narrow steep streets to Prague Castle. The main focus of Malá Strana is the square called Maloskranské námĕstà , in the middle of which is the church of St. Nicholas (sv Mikuláš), which is not to be confused with the other church of sv Mikuláš on the Old Town Square.
