St Mary and All Saints church in Holcot village was built in the early 13th century, with the nave, chancel and bell tower rebuilt in the 14th century. It was originally decorated with various paintings inside, which have faded over time. Some of these have been restored around the Baptistery area. In the 15th century the clerestory and south porch were added giving the church much as we see it today.
