Cala Olivera - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
A panorama of the secluded little cove of Cala Olivera in Ibiza. As the panoramic picture shows, there are few people, no hotels and nothing to disturb the sound of water lapping against the rocks. Panoramic picture heaven in some ways.
Cala Olivera - FURTHER INFORMATION
Cala Olivera - Ibiza visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Cala Olivera' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Balearic Islands.
Panorama of Cala Olivera on the south coast of Ibiza about half way along the coast from Eivissa (Ibiza Town) to Santa Eularia. Cala Olivera is a very isolated beach found at the end of a very steep dirt track with deep ruts. Descent should be by 4-wheel vehicle only, and it is not recommended to try to access the beach shortly after rain. The cala is surrounded by woodland and there are few facilities and no restaurant or bar. The beach is made of coarse sand and the floor of the cala is rocky. However, the waters are crystal clear and very suitable for snorkeling or diving. If quiet and solitude with the potential for nude bathing is what you are looking for then Cala Olivera is a good option. As this panoramic photograph of the cala shows, the area is very beautiful and relaxing, a world away from the busy hotel beach resorts found elsewhere on Ibiza. The rocky coastline invites exploration.
