Quarry wood is a small wood just north of Cookham Dean in Berkshire. The woodland has numerous walking paths with lead southwest to Wood Park or east towards Winter Hill and Cock Marsh. Within the wood are a couple of open spaces with views north over the River Thames and Marlow. Unfortunately, Quarry Wood is impacted by noise from the A404 that runs along the northern edge.

Train: Cookham Station with a change at Maidenhead for links to London Paddington and then walk 1.5 miles down Dean Lane.
Road: Quarry Wood is about 0.5 miles from Cookham Dean and 2.1 miles from Cookham. Cookham is 35 miles west of London on the M4, A4 and A4094. It is about 35 miles southeast of Oxford on the M40 and A4094 and 4 miles north of Maidenhead.
