The Verzasca River Valley - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT

This valley near to the village of Lavertezzo in Ticino is crossed by a 17th century double arched Roman bridge known as the Ponte dei Salti. The bridge was rebuilt in 1960 and is a popular location for visitors who climb over the smoothly polished rocks to bathe in the many natural rock pools.
