MacKenzie State Recreation Area - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
The MacKenzie State Recreation Area is not what you would normally expect of Hawaii island. But then most people do not get to see much more of the island than the the beach nearest their hotel or appartment, and possibly a day trip to the Volcanoes National Park. This woodland area is quiet and relaxing. The picture shows some of the camping area in the park. Amenities are basic.
