Llyn Padarn railway - end of line - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
An old narrow gauge railway which was used for transporting the slate from the quarry to the neares port is still operational along the shore of Llyn Padarn.
Penllyn is welsh for head (pen) of the lake (llyn). That is where the track ends today and the steam railway will start its return journey.
