Seaford Beach runs along the front of Seaford in East Sussex. The beach is made of shingle behind and at the back is a paved footpath just in front of a low, brick sea wall. This is a popular spot for locals and visitors, especially on fine summer days. It is possible to walk west from here to Newhaven. On the beach is also the Seaford Museum which is housed in Martello Tower No.74 towards eastern end and has displays about the history of Seaford from the Cinque Port days onwards.

Seaford is also the starting point for a popular coastal walk east along the South Downs Way which proceeds up Seaford Head, past Hope Gap and onto Cuckmere Haven. From here the path takes a turn inland for 1.5 miles to the Exceat Bridge over the Cukmere River before turning back towards the coast through Seven Sisters Country Park and over the Seven Sisters to Beachy Head before descending into Eastbourne. The walk can be quite arduous as the terrain is never flat, ascending and descending the chalk hills with stunning views over the sea and countryside.
