Hulihee Palace and Mokuaikaua Church - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama shows two important landmarks on Hawaii Island. The Mokuaikaua Church is the oldest and first church built on the island in 1837. The spire is the tallest structure in Kailua-Kona, too tall to be seen in this panoramic picture. Hulihee Palace was the former vacation home of Hawaiian royalty. It is now a museum run by the Daughters of Hawaiʻi with exhibits of furniture and artifacts.
