I had friends staying here for a short time, and took this panoramic photo as a reminder. It was fun to explore the rock pools and try to take some pictures of some of the fish darting about. The image shows the rocky shore and the pounding Pacific surf.

Panorama of the coastline at the back of the Kona Bali Kai (also called Castle Kona Bali Kai) condos near to Kailua-Kona. Kona Bali Kai offer shore front accommodation, with private lanais (balconies) and secure parking and private kitchens. There is also a communal swimming pool and whirlpool that visitors can use to relax during their stay. Note that the beach next to the hotel is not a swimming beach, but does have some great rock pools to explore at low tide.

According to the hotel owners these are: "Oceanfront Condominium Complex on the shoreline of Holualoa Bay, 3 miles south of Kailua-Kona & 15 miles from Kona Int'l Airport."

Travel and Getting There:
Kona Bali Kai Condominium are 15 miles from Kona International Airport. From the airport take the H19 south to Kailua-Kona, then head south for about 3 miles along Alii Drive to the hotel.
