St Peter's Church is very small. At the time I took this panorama I did not have a camera that would have coped with being much closer to the church, which is a shame as it meant standing on Alii Drive to take the picture. Kahaluu Beach Park, next to the church, is popular with surfers.

St Peter's Catholic Chruch, near to Kailua-Kona on Hawaii Island, was built in 1889 on the site of an ancient Hawaiian heiau. The church is also known as 'The Little Blue Church'. Today the tiny chapel is a popular site for weddings. It is set right on the shore front in a small garden.

Travel and Getting There:
From Kailua-Kona take Alii Drive south. St. Peter's Church is on the shore side of the road, just before Kahaluu Beach Park and the 5 mile marker.
