Nanuku Inlet - Mauna Lani Resort - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
The water at Namuku Inlet were very calm. I was tempted to try to take the photo standing in the water, but that seemed just a little too risky. So instead I waded out to this lump of lava sticking out of the water hoping that the water would remain shallow. A panorama from my own little lava island looking back on the shore and the hotel. If you view the satellite image, the hotel looks a bit like a Klingon warship from above.
