Mousehole - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama from Mousehole showing Mousehole Harbour. Mousehole is a very pretty little harbour, especially when the sun is shining on it. Not the case here when the remains of a storm was blowing onshore and waves were breaking over the harbour wall.
Mousehole - FURTHER INFORMATION
Mousehole - Penwith visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Mousehole' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Cornwall.
Mousehole is a small town on the south coast of Cornwall near Penzance. This town was sacked by the Spanish in 1595 who burnt all but one house. That house is still standing. Large wooden beams are laid across the entrance to the harbour in the winter to keep out the worst of the storms. In the summer this pretty village is a very popular attraction in Cornwall and thousands come each summer to walk along the harbour wall and browse the shops and cafes nearby.
