The Chapel of Siecha - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT

This place was the first foundation of the city of Guasca, in july 1600. The administrative and political goverment moved lated to the currently place 6 Kms NE. To fight against native religion of Muisca people, centered on the "Leyenda del Dorado" ceremonies, colonial spaniards engaged in evangelizing the Catholic religion by building a dominican convent, currently in ruins, and the nearby chapel of Siecha
