This is the railway station at Chur, the capital city of the Swiss canton of Graubünden. From Chur it is possible to join the famous Glacier Express travelling from Zermatt to St. Moritz, also the Bernina Express travelling south into Italy, or just to make the 60 minute journey on the branch line to Arosa which has equally stunning scenery.

Chur railway station serves both the SBB-CFF-FFS lines and the RhB (Rhaetian railways) lines. While the SBB lines serve most of Switzerland, most of Graubünden's rail traffic is served by Rhaetian state railways.
