This is one of a series of images I took on and around the pier one day. It was windy, cloudy and threatening to rain. But that is the usual English summer - especially in 2007. The picture was taken around 6pm, hence the long shadows visible in the panorama and the bright sky to the west.

Travel and Getting There:
Take the A35 towards Bournemouth. The pier is on the sea front off Bath Road. Parking nearby is limited and expensive. You can walk to Bournemouth Pier from the town centre through the Pleasure Gardens.
