Bournemouth Pier - Surfing and Boat Trips - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
When there is a good swell and strong wind most holiday makers head back to their hotels or one of the other attractions in Bournemouth. It is then that a small brigade of surfers take to the beach. One of the favourite places is just off the east side of Bournemouth Pier. Further along the coast towards Sandbanks people often go wind surfing and kite surfing off the shore. In this panoramic picture you can seen numerous surfers bobbing in the water waiting for the right wave. The panorama also shows some of the structure of the pier.
