Salisbury Cathedral will always inspire. The interior is vast, as this panorama taken from the junction of the nave and the transept shows. The arches seem to go on forever and the people dwarfed by the surrounding stonework. It is impossible for any panoramic picture to really give a true sense of scale, and the cathedral remains the principle tourist attraction in Salisbury.

This panorama was taken part way down the magnificent Gothic nave of Salisbury Cathedral, one of the finest and most famous cahtedrals in England. Work on construction of Salisbury Cathedral started in 1220 and the tower and spire were completed around 1330. Salisbury Cathedral has the tallest spire in England (123m) and probably the tallest spire of any church constructed prior to 1400 in the world.
Other pictures taken within Salisbury Cathedral show the Choir Stalls, the Morning Chapel, the Trinity Chapel and the Chapel of Edmund And Thomas.
