The Poole Quay Boat Haven marina is built alongside Poole Quay in Poole. The marina opens out to Hole Bay in Poole Harbour. Poole Quay Boat Haven is used by both the local fishing fleet and luxury yachts and boats. Zooming in on the satellite view of the marina on the map of Poole, you can see that the marina is effectively split in two. All the fishing fleet boats are moored at the eastern end, while the luxury yachts are moored nearer Poole Quay. It is not uncommon to see several Sunseker yachts here, their factory is nearby.

Poole Quay Boat Haven has 125 births available, most of which can handle boats up to 15m long, though there are a few longer births. During the summer months (1st April – 31st October), the pleasure-boat side of the marina is only available to short stay births, which must be booked in advance. The marina is very busy, and often full, during the summer months. Long-term births are available over the winter season, and the marina also manages a number of long term Swing Moorings during the summer season.

Poole Quay Boat Haven is ideal for those wishing to visit Poole while sailing around the area. The marina offers all facilities, including fresh water, electricity, pump-out facility, washing and dry-cleaning. It is near to numerous hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes and nearby Poole Quay offers some of the most popular tourist attractions in the area.
