Path to Durdle Door - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama shows the view over Man 'o War and the beach taken from the top of the cliffs on the way to Durdle Door from Durdle Door Holiday Resort. I love the view from here over the bay. This panorama was shot late in the afternoon as most people were coming up from Durdle door and the beaches. The coastline around here and Lulworth Cove is stunning.
Path to Durdle Door - FURTHER INFORMATION
Path to Durdle Door - Lulworth visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Path to Durdle Door' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Dorset.
The footpath from Durdle Door Holiday Park down to Durdle Door passes along the edge of the bay by Man o'War Beach and overlooks Man o'War itslef. Man o'War is the outcrop of rock jutting into the bay from the right (west). Durdle Door extends east from this into the next bay, and is not visible in this picture. The only refreshments in the area are provided by the tractor driven stall visible just a little further up the path. The pat then branches with one side continuing up to Durdle Door Holiday Park and the other continuing along the coastline and over a hill to Lulworth Cove and Stair Hole (famous for the Lulworth Crumple).
