This panoramic image was shot as part of a series from Durdle Door and Man o'War. At low tide the line of rocks across the bay become quite exposed, and are a favourite spot for snorkelling. Walking along the beach from here to Lulworth Cove (you can get as far as Dungy Beach) is quite fun, but arduous, as walking along shingle beaches is never easy. The further east you go the more isolated the beaches become. This whole area is very popular in the summer.

Panorama from the beach at Man o'War, the beach to the left of the land spur that separates this bay from Durdle Door. Man o'War is actually the name of the spur of land that protrudes from left hand cliff into the bay. At low tide it is possible to go around Mon o'War head to St. Oswald bay and then walk along the shingle beach towards Dungy Beach before climbing back up and over the next headland to Stair Hole and Lulworth Cove.

The nearest parking is at the Durdle Door Holiday Resort car park. It is then a 15 minute walk down steep chalk hills to the beach itself. An alternative is to park at Lulworth Cove and walk over the hill. This take about half an hour but offers fantastic views of the surrounding coastline.
