Christchurch is famous for the old Christchurch Priory and the marina. The town is a very popular tourist attraction and has many visitors during the summer months.

Christchurch is an ancient town in Dorset, famous for the Christchurch Priory and Christchurch Harbour. It stands on the banks of the River Avon, close to Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Quay.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Take the A338 north from Bournemouth (south from Ringwood) until you come to the flyover sign posted for Christchurch and the Royal Bournemouth General Hospital. At this junction take the A3060 (Castle Lane East) east. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A35 which leads into Christchurch.
