River Avon - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama, taken from the banks of the River Avon in Christchurch, shows the ancient stone bridge that crosses the river at this point. There are also people fishing on the river. This is a popular place to relax and stroll, the path here leads all the way along the river to the main marina and feed the ducks and swans on the way. Next to the bank is the remains of an old 12C building, and beyond this Christchurch Bowling Green. The green mesh to the right of the old ruin belongs to a hotel being done up at the time this picture was taken.
