O miradouro de montes claros em Monsanto é um espaço jardinado muito agradável que oferece um belo panorama sobre Lisboa, Tejo e Serra de Sintra. Foi criado a partir de um projecto do arquitecto Keil do Amaral.

Montes Claros View point in Monsanto is a very pleasent garden which offers a beautiful panorama over Lisbon, Tagus river and Sintra mountains. It was created from an architect Keil do Amaral's project.

Parque Florestal de Monsanto is a large, urban park in northwest Lisbon, covering almost 1000 hectares and is protected from development. The park contains cycle paths, walking trails and bridleways, keep-fit trails, picnic parks, play areas and a few restaurants. One of the highlights within the park is the 'Keil do Amaral' amphitheatre, where groups of young musicians often give free concerts during the summer.

Parque Florestal de Monsanto was created in 1934 and offers panoramic view over the whole of Lisbon from various vantage points. The park is well planted with mature trees, mostly pine, but there are also oak, cork-oak tree, holm-oak trees and others native to Portugal. Within the park is the Monsanto Ecological Park, which is open daily except on Sundays.
