O miradouro de montes claros em Monsanto é um espaço jardinado muito agradável que oferece um belo panorama sobre Lisboa, Tejo e Serra de Sintra. Foi criado a partir de um projecto do arquitecto Keil do Amaral.

Miranduro de Montes Carlos (Montes Carlos Viewpoint) is one of the viewpoints in the Parque Florestal de Monsanto with good views over Lisbon (Lisboa). This picture shows the man-made canal which leads to a pretty U-shaped lake by the viewpoint.

Parque Florestal de Monsanto is a large, urban park covering nearly 1000 hectares in northwest Lisbon. It is full of cycle paths, trails, bridleways and various play areas. Within the park are several restaurants. During the summer months, young musicians sometimes put on free performances in the 'Keil do Amaral' amphitheatre within the park.

Created in 1934, Parque Florestal de Monsanto is very popular with locals and now a tourist attraction in Lisbon. It is protected from development providing Lisbon with one of the largest open spaces within a city in Europe.
