South Australia is the fourth larges region in Australia, and borders all of the other regions of the country. To the west is
West Australia and then clockwise round the region come North Australia and Queensland to the north,
New South Wales and finally
Victoria to the east. The souther border of South Australia meets the Great Australian Bight and the Indian Ocean. The most populous city in the region is Adelaide, the state capital.
The largest city in South Australia is Melbourne. Among many of the highlights of the region is the
Grampions, with Grampions National Park. Also of world class fame is the
Great Ocean Road with the
Twelve Appostles, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region.
Victoria is the region in the south east corner of Australia. To the north lies
New South Wales, and to the west is South Australia.
