Otago is a large region of the South Island of New Zealand. It includes the towns and cities of Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell, Alexandra and Dunedin. The Otago Peninsula, upon which parts of Dunedin are built, is a very popular destination for the views across the bay and the Albatross sanctuary found at the very end. Along the east coast of Otago are the famous Moeraki Boulders and Shag Point, which has penguin colonies and Sealions.
