Liège is the easternmost province of Belgium, and shares borders with Germany and Luxembourg. Within Belgium, Liège shares provincial borders with Luxembourg to the south and then, moving clockwise, with Namur and Walloon Brabant in the Walloon Region, and with Limburg in the Flemish Region. Whilst the most common language spoken in Liège is French, minoritories along the eastern border speak German. Leige may therefore also be called Lüttich in German and Luik in Dutch. The capital city of the province is also called Liège.
