About Norway

Norway (officially the Kingdom of Norway) occupies the western side of the Scandinavian Peninsula in Northern Europe. Norway shares international borders with Sweden to the east, Finland and Russia to the north. Norway has a fantastically long coastline marked by deep fjords which draw a great number of visitors. Norway is a sparsely populated country with vast tracts of land unsuitable for agriculture. It now markets these areas for outdoor pursuits and conservation. The capital of Norway is Oslo, though before the 14C it used to be Trondheim.
