About Iulian Alps

The Iulian Alps are a mountain range in western Slovenia forming a border with Italy to the west and Austria to the north. The mountains are a popular walking and hiking destination in Slovenia. Notable mountains in the range include Skrlatica (2746 m), the Martuljek group, Stenar (2501 m), Slemenova Špica (1911m) between the Mojstrovka and Tamar valley.
