About Montana State

Montana is the fourth-largest state in the United States of America, named after the mountains found in the central and eastern parts of the state. Covering some 38 million hectares (94 million acres), Montana is bounded to the north by Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan). It shares internal borders with the states of North Dakota and South Dakota to the east, Wyoming to the south and Idaho to the west. The capital city of Montana is Helena, but the largest city in the state is Billings.

Montana is one of the least densely populated American States (ranking 44th), but is full of diverse and beautiful landscapes. The main economy is based on agriculture, especially wheat, barley, sugar beets, oats, rye, seed potatoes, honey, cherries, and cattle and sheep ranching. The state also has significant timber and mining industries.
