The small town of Selva lies between Inca and Caimari in Mallorca, at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. The park square next to the parish church offers great views of these mountains. On the square here is es Parc restaurant, offering excellent food and very reasonable prices in a relaxed setting. It is well worth making a detour for if you are in the area in the evening, or heading back from a visit to Lluc.
Another good restaurant in the village is Restaurante Miceli, with terrace dining facing east over the plains. Selva is ideal for those looking for a holiday away from the bustle and neon lights of the beach resorts, offering a much more relaxed and authentic Mallorcan feel. The main hotel in the town is Hotel Rural Sa Bisbal and there are numerous holiday apartments and villas in the area. It is within easy reach of the northern beaches and towns, being about 30 minutes away from and Puerto Pollensa and only 40 minutes from the delights of Arta and it's surroundings. Selva has a good public pool with bar that can be used by visitors.
